Madre, llévame a la cama.
Mother, take me to bed.
Madre, llévame a la cama,
Mother, take me to bed,
que no me tengo de pie.
for I can no longer stand.
Ven, hijo, Dios te bendiga
Come, son, God bless you
y no te dejes caer.
and don’t let yourself fall.

No te vayas de mi lado,
Don’t leave my side,
cántame el cantar aquél.
sing me that song.
Me lo cantaba mi madre;
My mother sang it to me;
de mocita lo olvidé,
as a young girl I forgot it,
cuando te apreté a mis pechos
when I pressed you to my breasts
contigo lo recordé.
I remembered it with you.
